S100P是S100蛋白家族的一个成员，在肿瘤中异常表达会通过各种信号通路对肿瘤的生长、增殖、入侵和转移起到重要作用。最早发现于在胎盘组织的中高表达。在胰腺导管腺癌中高表达，而在良性的胰腺导管和腺泡腺中不表达。据报道，S100P在所有的导管内乳头状粘液性肿瘤的浸润成分中表达，包括神经、淋巴结和微小浸润。90%原发癌胆管活检S100P强阳性，而良性的活检 组织S100P阴性，因此在胆管活检标本中，S100P可以帮助我们区分癌与反应性上皮变化。同时,S100P也是尿路上皮癌特异性的标志物之一。
